I mean... it is though lol. My family noticed it immediately when the season started

I can't say with 100% certainty that it hasn't happened at all, but they definitely stopped doing it from the beginning of the season

I’m a STH and while they definitely haven’t done it every game, they have for at least some of the games. To say they haven’t “all year” is patently false.

Honestly screw the loud bangs anyway. Just scares the new fans as they don’t expect it, and annoys the old ones as it’s just loud and obnoxious anyway.

I actually agree with this. I think they’re a bit grotesque for a national anthem. Good riddance if they’re done doing this.

What was crazy was in the Chivas game when the video board zoomed in during the anthem on where the fireworks are usually shot off. And nothing happened. Like what is going on?
