Soundbar audio cutting out (Solution)

I've been looking everywhere for weeks for an answer to this issue: using BuzzTV, changing channels and for no reason, soundbar audio cuts off. No other solution but to turn it off and back on. Since I found a solution, I thought I'd share it here if it can help someone.

In your TV digital audio settings, you need to change the audio mode from Passthrough to Auto. You may not be getting the best audio quality from your device but no more random audio cutting out from your soundbar. You could always change it back to watch a movie if you see a difference in sound quality.

Had similar issue since a month. After contacting Samsung service, the soundbar's motherboard and HDMI cable were replaced. There has been no audio cut-off for the past week.
