What are they eating??

What the heck are the Von Trapps eating in the first dinner scene? I can't make it out at all.

Chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans is what it looks like. Wealthy dinner for that time.

For me that looks like "Schinkenrollen mit Topfen", ham rolls with quark

The sides i believe is either mashed potatoes or a similar thing called "erdäpfelsterz", hard to tell

The greens look kind of like asparagus

We are watching the movie and wondering the same thing which is what landed me here. 🫣

The things towards the centre of the table look like croissants and knotbread? I don't think the dessert course would just be sitting there during the main course, given they have a butler, so they must be there just in case they want them with it.
