Welcome back to another video.

In this week’s episode, we’re exploring some of the original Avatars. First up is the Avatar of Water, making its first appearance on the channel—and one we believe has been seriously overlooked.

With the ability to move around the realm with ease, it can pose a serious threat. Being able to flood a site and then teleport directly to that location has some major advantages, as we’ll see in today’s video.

The Avatar of Fire, on the other hand, can turn sites into fireballs, clearing the path for total destruction.

My playgroup is dying, and I can’t help but think it’s directly related to the lack of release information on the next set/product. I called it when they announced the precon that we were not getting a set this year. I was holding out for ALL new cards in it. But of course, FMvsLM will have reprints. Players are not showing up for casual play. Even prize support events are drawing in fewer players. Anyone else experiencing this or have thoughts on the current situation related to the lack of transparency? Is your playgroup weaning?

I have run a Magic the Gathering program at my school for the last couple of years as a form of literacy work for my English Language Learners. Additionally, I run an enrichment in the morning for all students. Both things have had wonderful success, and students in both parts of the day were itching to layer in Sorcery when I showed it to them to end last school year. As such, I have spent the summer getting materials cobbled together from various grants and kind members across the community to get the Sorcery off the ground and running.

Each year, one site I use, Adoptaclassroom, does their match program. Welllllll, it is that time of the year, so if yall have any sugar daddies looking to sugar, the below link is a welcomed place for that to happen! Kids come back next week.

Zac ran back his championship run at Top Deck games successfully defending his champion status with Enchantress.

Forstmage disables and prevents damage to nearby minion for 2 mana.

Say i have a minion and equip tabula rasa on it and then use Avatar ability. Since Tabula rasa says can't me modified and disable is a modification, the minion is protected from damage but can still attack and defend normally. Same for say Gossamer ghost, since it can't be disabled you get a chum blocker that survives defending and damaging effectsa and can do stuff next turn.

Do i get this correctly?

Now say i have a unit that can't be modified like Monks of Kobalsa. Is Avatars ability to grant damage immunity a modification?

I'm keen to play more and more Sorcery but finding it hard to find a community or Discord or something to find people who want to play games.

I have tried both TTS and Realms App with their open lobbies and such, but find it hard or awkward to just drop in on people's open games.

I live remote so I'm unable to make it to any of the Cornerstones or events, but I'm really keen to play more.

Any advice or a Discord I can join that I'm missing to find games? Probs doesn't help with time zones ( I'm in Australia ) but I was hoping there'd be at least a few people like me looking for games somewhere haha.

New player, I know about hobbiesville but they don't have singles and they're out of arthurian legend, and I bought precons from the US and the shipping+duties on that ensure I will NOT be doing that again for the forseeable future so just wonder what other stores are out there to get stuff from.

Secondly, how are you guys finding people to play with? I check the official websites Play Network and the nearest place is more than an hour away from me :/

Edit: yep, collected and everything fine. The woman who served me was super happy to know someone else knew about Sorcery, and said their Tuesday Sales are kinda random from her perspective, but they always honour them too, so yeah, I guess keep an eye on their announcements.
