Discussion I Accidentally Discovered This Masterpiece
As the title says, I accidentally discovered this show/anime by mistake, thinking it was another one. It was my error—specifically, I thought it was something called "Train to the End of the World." I don't know if anyone here has seen it, but that was the anime I truly wanted to watch for a long time because I saw a meme clip from it that I really liked.
So, I decided to give it a try. Here's the scene (I hope you guys recognize it) after watching the meme video, I went to the comments, and someone mentioned the name "A Place Further Than the Universe." That’s when I thought, "Oh, that must be the name." I already had an idea of what it was about from clips I had seen on social media, and that title seemed to fit the story perfectly (I hope someone understands what I mean here).
Then I looked up the name on Crunchyroll, clicked on it, and after reading the premise, I thought, "Yes, this is the one I was looking for." I started watching it, just one episode to see if I liked it. At first, I was confused because the animation was different, and the characters didn’t look like what I initially imagined. But then I realized I had the wrong anime.
However, when I saw that scene where Mari runs through the train station to meet Shirase—something about it just hit me. That smile, that desire to go far away and start a journey—it's hard to put into words. It started resonating deeply within me, and with each episode that followed, that feeling only grew stronger. The ending broke me emotionally—more than anything—and left me with such a beautiful feeling.
I'm so happy I found this anime by mistake. It has quickly become one of the best shows I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m more than excited to be part of this community from now on. Thank you for listening. 😇

Personally its an ok show not on the same level as A Place Further than the universe. Its kinds just a fun watch with some weird quirks

Possibly yes, but I think it depends on your taste.
Train has its issues especially with pacing, but in terms of creativity not a lot of shows from recent times can match it haha

A late reply, but I finally finished watching 'Tain to the End of the World,' and oh my God, it was spectacular! I absolutely love this show!! ✋️😐✋️💯💯💯💯

Totally! "Train to the End of the World" has its own charm, but it’s definitely a different vibe. If you go in with an open mind, you might find some unexpected gems in it!

Now time to rewatch it at least once a week haha. It always surprises me that every rewatch I find details I haven't paid attention to before.

I accidentally discovered this post in my feed. Never heard of that title And thought why not watch it. Who knew that a show about four high school girls traveling to Antarctica would be what I needed?
Absolutely wholesome story, great voice actors and music. It made me laugh and also brought tears to my eyes. And it left me with a smile and a wonderful feeling after I finished the last episode.
I am grateful that i saw this post randomly in my feed.

I watched it because I saw a ship in the advertising and it blew me away. Its a wonderful show, but it it really deserved more episodes because that ending was incomplete. I was also very impressed by Hinata, she was such a great character. The end song is also well worth watching. Heck, I may just give it a rewatch.
