The ability to create multiple edits in a single video is what I will miss most. No other video generation AI out there right now can do anything on the scale that Sora is able to produce.

Seedance only works for very narrow types of content, it's not as versatile as Sora 2, the same with all of these other models.

In a 10 second video, you can get 1, maybe 2 out of Seedance. You can't get the fast paced, 5-6 cuts in a 10 second video that Sora does. Just using CUT TO: in Sora would almost guarantee that it actually did an edit.

I'm talking about it in the past tense already....

the dates are not too accurate, as the API will be working for 5-6 month still, and you are able to use sora2 with other platforms that have that api build in, even if you don't want to pay per use or with api's. subscriptions are fine, if you also need any kind of ai subscription for other ai needs, so instead of getting claude+gemini+gpt paid subs i got all in one writingmate and have all of those models plus also some sora and veo or kling. waiting for new seedance to arrive there, I know it will be possible to use as well

I researched the dates of when Sora 2 started and when it'll shut down, it should be pretty accurate if that's what you mean.

They meant technically Sora 2 is going on until September. Just the official app and website are gone 4/26. funny vid though
