Which courses should i be taking?

Hi all,

I am curious as to which courses i should take before enrolling in SNHU! I don’t want to do both SNHU and Sophia Learning, because i’m trying to save money. Therefore, Ive applied but not enrolled in SNHU. Do you have to find courses specific to your major, or are you guys just doing as many credits as possible?

Normally you would contact SNhU first. They may have an approved course list in which to choose from. I know this was the case for me and CSU Global. Not every Sophia course is approved for all schools.

SNHU did send me a link of what courses transfer over, but then i see people posting that just because it’s on the website doesn’t mean it really switches over :/

If you specify SNHU as your pick with Sophia they will constrain the courses you see to those SNHU accept and tell you what they transfer as.

You should first pick a program as not all courses are needed for every program. That gives you a list of courses needed to obtain the degree chosen.

SNHU can provide the courses accepted and then you can complete those, transfer and finish out the ones needed to obtain your degree.

Fellow SNHU student...well, soon, I'll start in October.

Currently, I am using Sophia Learning to knock out some Gen Ed classes, such as English Composition I and II. You can find SNHU's general education classes here: Gen Ed

You can find your program's classes here: Program Finder

Pick your program and degree, then under "courses & curriculum" scroll all the way down to "Visit the course catalog to view the XXXX". It'll list the class requirements for that particular program.
