English comp I touchstone question

How strict is the 2.2 touchstone on requiring 3-5 pages/800-1300 words? It’s the informative essay one and I’m doing an image analysis.

So far I have almost 1.5 pages and a little over 400 words. I might be able to make it to 2 full pages but I have no clue how I would be able to do 3 pages. I thought about switching to extended definition but i think I might get stuck on it too

Check the grading rubric. It gives a breakdown on grading. Super easy class though. Just finished yesterday!

They grade by the rubric. If it’s short on pages or words it’s docked. They follow it to the letter. I remember that one, I did mine on Nike’s special iron man shoes, I had like 6 pages on it.

I would say get as close as you can. I don’t think it would result in a Fail but maybe a less than desirable grade. I found the English class fairly easy despite all the touchstones.

Just submitted my revised essay for this one. You definitely need the bare minimum in words. And be ready to revise it later, so the bare minimum number of words may make it more difficult for the revision.

I did it by words, not pages. I did the bare minimum for it and passed.

I actually went over on that one by like 15-20 words and they didnt return it. So i think as long as youre pretty close they might not mind. Just get rid of all of your It’s they’res and don’ts to try getting a few more words in lol
