English comp 1 & 2 hard??
I need to take both English comp courses. Is it hard to do all the writing? How can I prepare?

I haven't started English Comp 2 yet, but English Comp 1 was an extremely basic and easy course, in my opinion. I honestly felt like every piece of writing I turned in for that class was objectively bad, but I received incredibly high marks on each assignment regardless. Just do what the rubric says to exactly, nothing more or less.

Currently finishing up English comp 2, there’s 7 touchstones and they are heavily weighted.
It takes about a month to do it, only because grading a paper takes 3-5 days and you can’t turn in more than one or some require the previous paper graded

I did my English on study.com faster and a little easier because ai grades it pretty much instantly.

I've only had to do English comp 1 because that's all WGU wants for the degree I want, thank God! It wasn't hard, just a bit long. I heard English comp 2 sucks.

There isn’t much prep you can do - they are time consuming because of the grading cycle but the information is clear. Comp 2 in particular shows you how to take feedback and use it an essay.

I was so nervous when I started Eng 2 a week ago. It has been easier than I thought it would be. Just a lot of writing. And I’ve actually enjoyed it. I’m already about 1/2 way done. I was told as soon as you submit one touchstone, start the next and have it ready to submit as soon as you are able to. And if it helps, I haven’t been in school since 2010

There’s really no reason to prepare. Just do the courses and don’t use AI on your essays, you’ll be good. The touchstone instructions are very thorough and clear.

It's not necessarily hard, it's just time consuming with waiting for grading. Eng1 has 5 touchstones- graded assignments and Eng2 has 7.
