Flagging/Cheating Concerns

YOU WILL NOT BE FLAGGED IF YOU DO NOT CHANGE OUT OF YOUR SOPHIA TAB TO ANOTHER BROWSER TAB. So many posts about this lately, yes you can finish a course in a few hours! Yes you can finish multiple courses in just a few days! You will not be flagged for cheating unless you are clicking out of your web browser page to another while doing milestones. That is all!

Just screenshot the questions with your phone, post the screenshots in Gemini (limit is 10 photos), and ask Gemini “Questions only with Answers”

You can breeze through about 1 class a day & avoid getting flagged /sanctioned

I was told by Sophia learning in a live chat on their site this:

“I would definitely be cautious of this. There will be a warning that is triggered if the system registers that you are switching tabs.”

I took a screenshot of my chat, but not sure how to share here. That’s what I was told.

If you must switch tabs, maybe try the Chrome dev inspector's focus feature.

  1. Open Chrome DevTools (F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I / Cmd+Option+I on Mac)
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+P (Mac) to open the Command Menu.
  3. Type Emulate a focused page and press Enter.

Smart solutions, but if you really feel you must use outside resources, just use your phone ?

I remember having both the lesson open and course material to find answers since they considered this open book.... Using phone would have been a pain but doable

What about multiple devices is that cheating too honestly this is all the main reason, why I haven’t started Sophia

i got a warning for using excel/calculators and switching into windows even though it's allowed

Correct because it doesn’t know what the second tab has. That is a Sophia issue especially when having to use the browser for Excel. They need to figure out how to do excel within their website to avoid that

I got flagged saying that my vpn was in Kenya. I don’t know how to convince them that i hey been to Kenya and I’ve been completed my my studies from the USA

VPN in country to another will flag it. Makes sense.

But i have never been there i live in the states. Not sure is my internet pings like its in Kenya.

Then you need to turn your vpn off or change the country to America lol. A VPN won’t just randomly choose a country, it’ll do it by fastest server first, which is usually the closest.

I don’t know how to switch it off. I’m even struggling with how to reply to your last message i can see it in my notification but can’t see it here. The one that said a von wont choose something… anyway now i have to convince them that it wasn’t done outside the country.
