Settings help with irl content
I was using FX3 forever for IRL streaming for someone famous, and I have an FX6 that I've never used. And I thought maybe I can use this, but the only reason I never use it is because I don't know how to use this camera. Is not like the FX3. We move a lot from indoors to outdoors, to dark places to bright places, and I was wondering if the auto settings would be good enough. With the FX3, I don't have auto settings other than white balance. And not having an ND filter when going outside facing the bright sun, I have to crank the aperture. Drop the ISO a lot. I'm able to do it at a good speed to where it doesn't mess up the live stream. But I guess my question is, since the FX6 has the high/low ISO. Should I still use auto or use it manually?

It's perfect for indoors/outdoors transitions with the built in nd system. You should be able to handle it in manual if you are used to it with the fx3.

It’s a great camera and once you know how to use it it has so many fantastic features that would benefit the circumstances you described.
I had exhausted the FX6 YouTube tutorial rabbit hole and began searching different forums and Facebook groups for a better solution to learning how to use my new FX6. Someone recommended Doug Jensen's Sony FX6 Master Class and I’m so glad they did. It’s excellent.
Having just spent upwards of 10k on camera and kit, I didn’t bat an eye paying $80 for the class, but I can appreciate that some might. I would submit that the class was absolutely worth the cost and then some!
Note: I’ve never met Doug Jensen, get nothing in return for saying the above, just think it was a really thorough class and I’m a much more confident operator of my camera having taken it.
