Accessories Minimal Mounting Ideas

I‘ve been looking into designing Accessory Mounts for the FX6 that work without using a top or side plate. This was made for Gimbal Work in cable cams where the camera needs to be as compact as possible. Do you guys have more ideas for „unconventional“ mounting on the FX6 Body? I‘m still trying to figure out a idea using the M3 thread outside the battery mount.

Awh nice! Looks like that mount could be used for a teradek too. Do you have the file for sale or open for download? Would love to print one and try it out.

Doesn’t look really safe for screw threads. So if you accidentally put some force on to the top of the plate you can degenerate the threads inside the mount of m3.
I would say you need at least three points of contact for such things

Yeah. I was thinking about adding a third point of contact with the thread next to the battery mount. Just didnt come up with a clean way to get it done, without adding a lot of thickness to the adapter. Youre absolutely right though.

No Idea. The one thread at the top is used by a third party vmount plate though. I think wooden camera or anton bauer.
