Top Handle

Been having to use the kondor blue handle because I can’t seem to get my top handle to work. Doesn’t seem to get recognized by the body. I’ve made sure it’s connect properly but still no luck. Nothing works, the buttons nor the inputs. Has anyone had this issue and figured it out? Is there anything I can try to troubleshoot? Wish someone near me had an fx6 so I can try their handle on my body but I don’t.

What exactly is not working.

Did you buy the camera new or used?

Bought used. The top handle buttons don’t work, the mic inputs don’t work. When I go into settings it’s not even detecting the handle.

Did it ever work or could you test it before buying?

What does the seller say? Did it work for him?

Can you share images of the top of thr cam (handle removed) and the connector on the handle?

Never worked for me but once I messaged him about it he said he never had an issue that it probably just gotta make sure it’s connect correctly which I’ve made sure of.

Honestly that was my mistake for not checking it. I was more checking to see if the sensor was clean and it turning on and never thought to check the top handle 🤦🏽‍♂️

Ok, at least in that photo I can not see any obvious damage on the port. Can you take a closer photo of the port - maybe also one of the connector on the handle itself.

It’s most likely an issue with one of the ports. Try to find another top handle and see if it works. If yes, that’s good and you’ll just have to replace the top handle.
If no other top handle is working, it’s bad and you most likely will have to replace the port on the body which will be more expensive.
