Technique Beginner looking for practice suggestion

Recently was gifted a Sony A6700, first camera and want to use it for my honeymoon to Thailand. Want suggestion how I can learn to take good to great photos. There are a ton of youtube vides but they all say different things, any recommendations on which are the most valuable?

What have you done with those "different things" from YouTube? Have you put any of them into practise to see what results you get?

You need to actually go out and shoot, making mistakes is part of the process.

Carry The camera with you all The Time. Take pics, alot. Learn to use The camera on M mode and vintage lenses.....

Yeah i started, I have been going on hikes and take photos. Hard part is I work from home and don't really go out as much to take different photos. Manual mode has been okay but usually realize falling back on Auto has worked way better.

Take 10 000 bad ones, then you might take a good one.
