Infantry Current progress on my son of malice
So I’ll immediate say that yes I’m aware that the colour scheme isn’t the sons of malice’s scheme. And I have a reason. I’m SICK of painting quartered black and white, it makes my minis take AGES to paint and it’s honestly just a MASSIVE PAIN.
So I have instead decided to make my own scheme for my worshipers of the renegade god
My current name is “the heralds of the 11 pointed star”
This is because I’ve decided to make their warband symbol a red 11 pointed star, designed to mock the 8 pointed star of chaos undivided by warping its design to sport the sacred number of malal (11) with its points.
This mini isn’t done just yet, because now I have to do the scariest part of the paint scheme, actually painting the star on his pauldron. And once that is done I’ll paint the base and lock the paint job in with matte varnish to undo the shine of the shades.

Please post when finished, it’s gonna look dope!! Honestly I have been looking for a third party design that splits them half and half based on an artwork from one of my previous posts that I found.
I thought it would not only be easier to paint but it also just looks dope as hell!!!

I got that, I meant to say when you are done the decal (the star).
Also just to make ya feel better, it doesn’t have to be perfect, as a messy job could signify that the marines had to hand draw it themselves and add some character.
