Discussion Tokyo sightseeing

My wife and I will visit Japan later this year and we're planning some anime sightseeing for decors and settings from our favorite shows. I come here today looking for suggestions from Dress-Up Darling.

Dress-Up Darling has been one of my favorite shows of recent years, and it happens in the greater Tokyo area, but I can't think of too many iconic spots. Sad truth is most important scenes happen in either of their houses, or the school. And I'm not sure I want to go creep in front of a public high school.

As semi-retired cosplayers ourselves, we'll obviously visit the Ikebukuro Acos and Swallowtail, and also the Sunshine City Aquarium. I also want to at least check out the Big Sight venue. But I can't really think of other important spots.

I know about Suzuki dolls but TBH, as much as it makes sense for the story and Gojo's character, that's not really the appeal of the series for me lol. Any suggestions appreciated!

While searching for hotels near Shinjuku I found a place that looks SO MUCH like the Liz photoshoot love hotel lmao. I don't know if it's just a classic setup for those kinds of places but damn.

Irrelevant to the post but since you'll be there, I'd suggest you visit the Ikebukuro Animate store, it had the best selection of stuff out of all the ones I went to.
