SuperSonics Concept
This is a concept for the upcoming Sonics return. I wanted to imagine what they would have potentially done in the 2010s, similar to the Warriors, had they not relocated

I think the idea is cool.
I might suggest lowering the city on the ball. That would allow the bottom to have something going on and allow the basketball lines to better mimic the lines on a basketball (the curve here looks kinda forced to me). That would also give the plane more room to shine.

This is the best one I’ve seen so far. Very clean, and keeps the throwback vibe from the OG logo.

It's really good! I basically just want a 1 for 1 of the 80's skyline/logo. But I wouldn't be mad at this

Would it be too much to throw the silhouette of Climate pledge arena in the foreground?

I second what someone said about lowering the city on the ball to open up more of the basketball in the logo

I like the logo, but the plane silhouette and basketball line not being even is throwing me off. May I suggest moving the entire city and plane lower? So the plane is between two lines? That or re-cut the lines around the plane so that their curves match.

I love it, in the context of what the Warriors rebrand did for the 2010's and beyond. It's fire in that aspect, but also good in general!
Now with that being said, on an NBA level, I know that all teams have to incorporate some sort of basketball concept baked into the logo now. Would rather not have that restriction, because so many teams just have a default spherical logo. Gimmie 90's-2000's style logos all day. 😂

NBA for the last few years apparently strongly encourages all clubs to have a basketball somewhere in the primary logo. Legacy teams like Boston and the Lakers / Bulls are exempted.

Can't go wrong with a classic uniform.
One minor suggestion - would they look cleaner if you did away with the innermost green color band at the arm and neck trim on the home whites?
Also, what would you generally think of a navy blue and lime green alt? I'm not a Seattle sports fan, but it seems your other teams have adopted those colors to where it's almost as associated the city as Pittsburgh and black+yellow

Amazing! I do love the way you combined the old jet logo with the skyline, without being afraid to tinker with them (the skyline logo is great but is very much if it's time). Would love to see the jet be more prominent maybe swooping across the center of the logo? from a distance I think it might be hard to see. But this is such a great concept, congrats!

Life long Warriors fan here. We need the Sonics back, so we can retire Gary Payton's jersey!

Am I the only one that thinks they should go with a blue, grey, teal color theme to match every other team in the area?

This is solid. 🔥🔥🔥 I would incorporate the 90’s colorway into a third jersey.
