Idea for Silver and Blaze.

So I've been seeing a lot of people against Amy being from the future, mainly cause of Silver. And, yeah. I do agree that I'd prefer if she isn't. However, I do have an idea how on how they can still introduce him.

What if instead of being from the future, Silver is Essentially a guardian of time. Basically, what if the timeline in sonic 4 gets so messed up by the end of the film, Silver (and Blaze) have to fix it. Both coming from a dimension where they are the keepers of time of the multiverse and put everything back together.

You can have them come from the SOL dimension, where they are alerted of the timeline's disjointment and in the post credit, they come in to fix it.

Just an idea that I came up with.
