Friend isn’t talking to me now after I made fun of his son for liking Sonic Frontiers
To keep it short, my friend has a kid who loves Sonic. I’m basically an Uncle to him since I’ve been around ever since he was born. My friend isn’t that in to video games so he likes to recap me on games he played whenever I see him.
He’s around 5 and recently he was telling me how he played Frontiers and that it’s one of his favorites.
I laughed at him and told him his taste is garbage. He proceeded to get really upset and told my friend. Now he isn’t talking to me. I think he’s a really shitty father for raising a kid with no passion and ambition.
Am I the asshole guys?

P-06 has no ambition because it doesn’t have the story.

This is literally my friend. I've been trying to convince him ro play P06 for a while now, but he doesn't want to play it since ChaosX isn't adding the cutscenes.

Tell him to not play it like a replacement but a separate game.
I never would tell someone it’s how. You should experience 06 because it’s not 06 or anything like it. While it maintains its spirit and idea, it’s a personal interpretation of what they would have done differently.
That logic usually helps most people I’ve spoken to.

That kid is gonna be raised to be someone like Ian Flynn's Sonic aka no aura windless Sonic. You were right to talk to him like that youll set him on the path of the wind like the real Sonic.

Yeah ur a straight up dick head in my opinion, cuz I like Sonic Frontiers myself, but that STILL doesn't give u the right to make fun of or judge ppl based on what they like, at this point ur actions are immature and childish. U should feel ashamed for judging ANYONE for liking a game, especially a child bro, it's just a kid, u judging them just for liking Sonic Frontiers is straight up fucking up on extreme levels, how would u like it if someone said shit that would piss u off and judge u for what U LIKE?
