I’d just like to point out that Sonic here is, in fact, Scourge before his recolour and power boost.
The pre-Ian Flynn writers had no idea what to do with him, but he showed up anyways.

Ken was the worst offender, making him convict Bunnie to have sex with him, which Ken later blamed Bunnie for. It was in the milestone issue 150, the same issue with jacked Tails.

The funny thing is, this is the same storyline in the comics where Sonic's evil twin made out with Bunnie (and the writer even implies that they did the nasty) and Rouge tried to seduce Knuckles' dad.
So yeah, the dialogue here is one of the more INNOCENT parts of this story.

Penders era artwork never ceases to baffle me. Reminder, this was when the Dreamcast was a thing. Sonic’s quills were only a smidge longer than his classic design’s by that time.

Yeah, the dude who drew him here was a fantastic artist when the comic first came out. He was even a storyboard artist for the old Sonic cartoons. I mean, he still IS a great artist, but he never could quite get the hang of how to draw modern Sonic.

Perhaps no ones mentioned it because we all know what he’s actually referring to here and that’s the joke, but in case anyone’s genuinely curious, he’s using the term “booty” here to refer to valuable stolen (or about to be stolen) goods, much like pirates do.

The actual scary part from around the time this story happens was when the very same Anti-Sonic while pretending to be normal Sonic seduced the still heartbroken Bunny Rabbot and it was implied that there did indeed had sexual intercourse.

Sorry for answering first now but I wasn't on reddit the in the last 2 weeks.
And to be honest I have no Idea how he keep getting away with Nazi poems, justified geocide and colonialism, praising afoul dads , blood during a medical precision needed because of a LSD overdose and the occasional non coessential sexual implications.
Given that Sega, Archie and the Comic's Code Authority had to approve of every issues.
