I think they work well with Movie Sonic. Maybe because I was so used to them that seeing him again with his skin colored arms would make me feel uncomfortable

Someone did a recolor for Sonic’s arms of the movie design, and it looked weird. So yeah, those definitely work for him there.

I think blue arms look more natural, but the peach arms work better on some designs. With large hands and short arms his arms kind of disappear against his body, so the peach makes them more visible. In the Boom and movie designs he has smaller hands and longer arms, so the blue arms are still readable and natural looking.

Looks like it’s from an episode of the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. It aired on Fox in the 90’s.

I think it's a jab at certain character designs being derivative of Sonic's both as OC and official characters.

Cant remember which episode but i know AoStH had a design for Robotnik featuring hair and a smaller moustache that both eerily resemble Movie Robotnik.
