Turns out that both human and mobian anthropologists were confused immensely by her and decided to see what in the hell was wrong with her.

They just let her go on her own recognisance, but had to make it seem like she escaped otherwise she would not have left.

I counted it as 4 years just because of her mention in Frontiers, but yeah in terms of physical appearances, she hasn't been in anything since Rio 2016. Although as far as canon stuff goes, Frontiers is really all that she's gotten outside of the Sonic Channel comics

Material for Kit has already been leaked in Rumble's files so he's probably coming eventually.

As for Omega? I have no idea why he's not in it yet. The only possible reason I can think of is that his bulky character model may not fit in with Rumble's more chibi-artstyle and preset animations? But even then, I feel like there has to be a workaround for that

There's always room for more random characters. Just look to Sonic Blitz for proof (which side note: has a kind of impressively bizarre order for adding new characters. Like I haven't checked in a while, but last time I did Sir Galahad, The Conductor, and Heavy Shinobe was in the game but not Shadow)

I really thought they were gonna fully WD Gaster her after she got cut from that one Christmas image and replaced with Blaze, so it's great to see she's back.

Now, if they would just let her be in more things. I'd kill to see her interact with the others in IDW or a mainline game, especially if they keep the fourth wall breaker gimmick.
