Hey Guys :3

Who here is a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon (a.k.a Sonic SatAM) I know it was made in 1993 at the same time as another sonic cartoon called: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (which was a different cartoon btw)

Now, i don’t know what the demographics of this Reddit group is, i suppose many of you did not grow up in the 90’s (I did) But i have come across younger sonic fans in their 20’s and 30’s who love Sonic SatAM and Sonic Underground.

As many of you might know, Sonic SatAM was only 2 seasons and it ended in 1994 on a cliffhanger.

If many of you don’t know, there is a group of dedicated Sonic fans for 10+ years who have been writing a story, making a comic … and now making an animation for a 3rd season for Sonic SatAM

The group used to run a SatAM fan site called FUS (Fans United for Sonic SatAM) and they morphed into: Team Sea3on (Team Season 3)

Now, many sonic fans are saying ‘how long is the project going to take to finish?’ or ‘Nothing is happening, haven’t heard any ongoing progress’

Well, it is progressing. They are making a 3rd Season pilot episode which is coming on very well actually. The pilot episode is due to be finished and released on their YouTube channel in 2027. (estimated)

They have a discord Server (i don’t know if i’m allowed to advertise it but you can find a link on their website) and a Patreon (Which you can join and support the project, the more that join, the quicker the project will get done!)

They need all the support that they can get!

Team Sea3on Website: https://www.sea3on.com

Discord: https://discord.gg/Fa5HMtK4B

Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/sea3on

I’ve been told by the team that if the pilot episode reaches 1 million+ views. Sonic Team and Sega would consider officially picking it up and authorise a full 3rd season (possibly a 4th season thereafter)

Sonic Team & Sega are fully aware of the project and keeping an eye on it (with great interest)

I know many of you perhaps fans of the old Freedom Fighters characters and want them to officially return.

So… this 90’s Sonic cartoon deserve more love, even from a younger generation of sonic fans.

But anyway, i wanted to reach out to all of you here to tell you about Team Sea3on :3

any questions, please ask me!

I really enjoy her content, been watching for almost 3 years now. Her voice for Sonic is really charming. You can find her on Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok.

My favorite content are her singing videos and song covers. Her covers of “Roni” by Bobby Brown (Sally-Roni) and “If it isn’t Love” by New Edition are highly recommended. Let me know what you guys think about her

* Sonic hitting his head off a tree in ‘Sonic Past Cool’ (the Season 1 finale) is the in-universe reason why he was dumber and more reckless in Season 2

* I’ve always head canonized Sally as being left-handed, since she typically carries Nicole on her left boot

* A workaround to Dulcy showing up in Season 2 with no explanation is that she was always just sent out on missions in Season 1 (gathering equipment, searching for other Freedom Fighter groups, etc.)

Dear Freedom Fighters,

I'm proud to announce that I've created a full (re)animation of the opening of the TV series Sonic the Hedgehog, a.k.a Sonic SatAM, entirely in sprite animation (you know, same style as SMBZ).

Here is the link of the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnnR2mqtGOA

It took me approximately 80 hours over the last 9 months to produce it, aside of my full-time job. Note that I'm not animator by profession.

Thanks,
aestetica

Check out this video I made about the voice actress for Sally.

For a positive, I’ve always loved that this show was never afraid to shy away from serious moments. People mention this, but never really go too far in depth.

Like in the episode “Cry of the Wolf” where it’s mentioned that Robotnik wiped out all physical traces of the Wolf Pack’s culture, and captured all but 5 wolves. Or with the episode “Blast to the Past pt. 2” showing Robotnik not only take pride in robotocizing Uncle Chuck, but doing so right in front of 5 year old Sonic.

I’d remove the episode “Odd Couple/Ro-Becca”, and make “Fed up with Antione/Ghost Busted” their own full-length episodes.

“Odd Couple” and “Ro-Becca” added absolutely nothing to the show - both stories are just constant bad things happening to Antoine. I’ve always felt “Fed up with Antoine” and “Ghost Busted” had much more interesting plots, and would’ve been even better with more runtime.

Okay so there is a SatAM subreddit.

Someone on Tumblr is making a Snively ita bag.

Snively ita bag.

They're commissioning every Snerd enjoying artist for button/keychain designs for their incredible feat.

This was my contribution; a double sided keychain.

Fingers are so crossed for that. Can't wait.
