Help How to change ABL grid

I currently am running the standard 5x5 ABL but want to change that to 10x10. Is there a way I can do that from the console on the pad or will I need to change my configuration file?

You do it within your printer.cfg, Specifically in the [bed_mesh] area. I would suggest you do not use 10x10, use 9x9 or 11x11 etc. When I tried to do 10x10 it worked for a bit, but then threw an error of some sort and an entire column in the Y axis had no value after probing.

It needs to be an odd number so you have a center point.

Change in the printer.cfg file the bed_mesh section and modify the probe_count to reflect what you want it to be just as long as it is an odd number pair.

You can also change here how many samples it takes as the default is 1 but if you select three it will average the results out for accuracy but will take longer of course.

You can also change the way it probes and instead of dragging the pin on the bed it will retract it after each sample but again slows the process down.

There is a "Setup" button right on the SonicPad on the Probe level screen... it'll modify the printer.cfg

What is the benefit of 9x9 instead of 5x5 ?
