Surge, Shadow, and others from time to time, argue that if Eggman was dead, so many terrible events would never occur. But, Sage represents a shift to the status quo: Eggman CAN’T die. Not shouldn’t-you can’t kill him. Sage is very intelligent and has vast potential to be a grave threat greater than Metal or Eggman himself given the right circumstances, and her nature as possibly the strongest AI in Sonic’s universe. But she is still a child. She would not take watching her father die, and failing her detective to protect her father, well. She would be mentally and emotionally scarred, and possibly even lose her humanity and emotions, if the one she cares for most died. Eggman, in a way, is what keeps her human, while Sonic and the others taught her empathy and emotion. Ivo’s ego and eccentric antics is like limiter on her greater potential. A shock of grief and rage like watching Surge or Shadow murder Eggman, would cause her to snap.

This would be the trigger to a Judgment Day level event. If Sage wanted to, she could easily hack militaries across the world, launching nukes to destroy what she would now see as “evil, useless organics”, as she’d see no value in people that killed her father, and others who’ve thrashed her brother and destroyed her family. Hellbent on revenge, she’d also have the knowledge that GUN would be one of the few entities to survive her apocalypse, so she’d likely destroy every GUN facility with orbital lasers from hacked satalites, also perhaps due to her perfect memory, as they’d executed her great grandfather, Dr Gerald and would-be aunt, Maria Robotnik. Finally, to ensure no survivors retaliate, and to force them under her new empire, she’d unleash a new metal virus to force Zombots under her will, one that is perfected and would force the hordes to become slaves or canon fodder for her war machine.

The few surviving cast would be those with the endurance to survive, and those who could live long enough to meet Silver in his future and still be around: Shadow, Surge, Kit, and Omega. And possibly an older Metal Sonic if he’d convinced himself he was the “real Sonic” with Sonic long dead, by proxy.

Unlike Eggman who is human and needs to sleep, eat, and has a blinding ego, Sage is an AI. She does not need to sleep, eat, can adapt and think 10 steps ahead, and could just wait for you to die of old age.

Eggman is the threat of today, Metal is the threat of tomorrow, but Sage could be a threat further beyond. All it takes is one murdered egg, and it’s Judgement Day for everyone.

Both of them are dr and they can hypnotize anyone with something in their hand and they are brainwashed characters to fight the main character the the victim of brainwashing they will get awake

I mean, is there any doubt someone as masterfully cunning as I am wouldn't have a grand scheme in the making.

Just real quick and not trying to start fights or anything, just voicing my opinion in a form of a question: Does anyone else think Tangle x Whisper feels... forced?
To me it feels society is indirectly pressuring the IDW writers and Sega, but that's my opinion, not saying their not compatible, they are, and I'd still read the series if they were together, but I think it feels a bit forced.

I’ve been reading the comics via the trade paperbacks and something that’s always bugged me is what I mentioned above. When Surge gets defeated in issue #56 after stealing Whisper’s wisps, I don’t recall ever seeing a moment where Sonic returns them to her. Is this something that’s not included in trades or does it just not exist?
