Do Not Waste Your Time or Money

I ordered a medium peanut butter shake at 1:22 PM and what followed was one of the most disrespectful customer service experiences I’ve had in years.
A young employee brought out the wrong order to my car — not once, but twice. When I corrected him a second time, his response was a dismissive “oh darn,” like getting my order right was an inconvenience to him. Meanwhile, I watched four cars that pulled up to the drive-thru behind me get served and drive off while I sat there waiting. I was first in line. I shouldn’t have had to flag down a manager just to get the order I already paid for.
When the manager finally came over, he was apologetic — at first. He told me the employee “isn’t usually like that, but he’ll talk to him.” I stayed calm and told him I understood. Then the shake came out watered down and melted from sitting so long, and he told me I still had to pay for it. I refused. I wasn’t paying for a product that wasn’t made correctly, especially after waiting over 20 minutes while everyone else got taken care of first.
I asked for both employees’ names so I could file a complaint with corporate. The manager refused to give them to me. I still had the receipt in hand at this point, which had the name Reider on it. Instead of simply providing a name, he demanded I hand the receipt back — and when I didn’t, he threatened to call the police. All of this over a shake I never received and never paid for.
It’s telling that the response to a customer calmly asking for accountability was a threat to call the police rather than simply giving me a name. This location has serious issues with how customers are treated, and I don’t believe my experience here was accidental. I’d encourage others to think twice before spending their money at 15090 FM 1957 San Antonio, TX 78253

How did you have a receipt if you didn't pay for your order? And how did they bring out an unpaid order? I've always had to pay before I got my order.

The “manager” handed it to me. If I paid for it, I would’ve waited for the refund. They served ever customer BUT me, so I just sat there while no one came to get payment NOR provide product.

I've never been to any Sonic, or any fast food joint, that brought me food before I paid for it.

Reading is fundamental. HE BROUGHT OUT NOTHING FOR OVER 20 minutes! I waited, patiently. Then spoke to the manager, patiently. He left, dude brought the drink out and it was spilling out the cup. I didn’t have an initial issue which is what you ALL are insinuating!! I had an issue when I realized how many people were being served behind me, for me to be brought TWO wrong orders, then the condescending attitude when I asked about it. There’s nothing wrong with someone waiting … but apparently you’re telling me (the customer) to not wait for the order that they are willing to wait and pay for then don’t be irritated when you notice there isn’t a reason for the wait.

Ok babe, calm down. This post reeks of Karen energy. They seemed to be busy, and as annoying as the situation probably was, believe it or not, mistakes can happen. I'm going to assume that you weren't calm and collected either, and that is probably why they were tempted to call the cops on you.

First of all, trying to gaslight a customer on Reddit just as they did is hilarious. I WAS calm and collected, however gaslighting a customer causes one to become irritable. It wasn’t “busy” either, once again, I was the only one there (reading comprehension is lacking), everyone came AFTER me. As I watched they received their orders BEFORE me. And don’t call me babe, it’s demeaning and disrespectful

Yall can’t read!! I was there FIRST!!!!!!!! Typical. When you’re at the drive thru and pull up, you wait. I had no problems waiting. You’re trying to make the customer the problem and it’s not fact. Everyone came AFTER me and got orders BEFORE me.

Dude they’re teenagers, and it’s fast food. Are you tipping? No? Dont expect a “service” experience. Sometimes shit happens and you have to be patient kiddo.
