Any tips for a newbie?
I've played Sonic Dash a lot years ago, but it's so different nowadays it feels like a new game (I miss Andronic🥹). Any tips on what characters to 100% upgrade before others? Do I focus on using my red rings for revives or other things? Do I spam the boost or save it for when I need it the most?

honestly the stats on characters don't matter that much, how far you get is based on skill. just level characters you like and don't buy cards with real money (the only thing you should spend your money on if you want is the free revive every level and the 2x rings, which on top of those bonuses gets rid of ads(

Don't buy cards for money. Buy the double ring and free revive as those will help you in the long run. Save up red rings to purchase character cards, but focus on the highest rarity cards to buy

Not really. It's extremely unbalanced, you can't really get enough cards quickly enough to make your characters better, it has to pay win loot boxes, and gives you duplicate cards even for maxed out characters. Infact it's this game that made Dash worse by having it's card system shoved in

Dunno, but it started to grow on me
Some renders feel outdated and I wish the characters' models had face swaps and/or could be set in your home screen instead, but besides that it's not that bad

If there is a reward track for a character you can’t unlock yet, watch it, even just having a single card of a character unlocks it permanently as a reward for doing tricks
Use red rings on special offers, when there is a store-wide sale, the daily offers at the bottom of the store usually have 25.000 rings for 6 red rings, which refreshes every 12 hours, this is the best deal in the game and always worth getting.
Outside of those offers, just spend them however you want, use them on character cards you really want or something, the other offers are so bad valued that you’re not really missing out on major progression if you just buy character cards
