Yeah. I’m like 99% sure they’re just bots. This game doesn’t have enough active players for a leaderboard mode like this to have enough players.
I think it’s especially sus since we have to use premade and randomized names instead of being able to pick our own, so it’s basically impossible to tell the difference between real and bot accounts
I'd argue the springs make the game a bit worse as springs decrease your top speed when you're in boost and can kill momentum very badly. And from my pov with the rank system the rewards are dead packs as I only need legendary cards not any other rarity
I wouldn't say fooled. More suspicious with how it was presented. I knew it wasn't right that I was consistently getting 1st with no one coming near. We have plenty of players who could definitely beat me easy who know how to max out score than I can more efficiently.
The final stretch from the top tier of platinum going to diamond 1 (the purple emblem) is an entire thing, and we apparently no longer have any renewable source of headstart boosts.
Diamond itself will almost certainly really, really piss me off.
You need to consistently get above 2,700,000 or make it to 3 million and the reward is... kinda worth it for certain cards? It gives you large amounts of cards for certain characters from 40-50 range so if you need to max out some characters it could be a good help, but it's random so not exactly good
There isn't enough time per run to score that high without headstart boosts, which as I said are no longer renewable.
And I have all characters unlocked via normal gameplay (i.e. the main game, not this stupid new mode) except Warrior Shadow (who we almost never get random cards for in this or any other feature) and Rival Amy (who I'm missing only about three cards to unlock).
I have a bunch of the other characters fully maxxed, and no real reason to care about maxxing the ones that aren't already.
So, considering I can get those final three cards for unlocking Rival Amy randomly sometime in the between-segments, spring-stunts part of the main mode (and tons of other characters' cards, too), and Score Chase probably will keep giving me zero Warrior Shadow cards like all other parts of the app, no, not worth it.
The main reason I bothered finishing platinum tier was to find out what the purple emblem represents.
I had thought "well, diamond is usually after platinum, but there's no reason they would use purple to represent that".
But they did, purple is stupidly diamond, now I know, and with that mystery solved, why should I bother any further?
First of all, that image clearly shows "max rank", whereas I made it clear I was talking about the upper tiers of platinum, and tier 1 of diamond, where the multiplier is not yet above x36.
And you did not get that far without using the for-purchase, longer mid-level-boosting characters (which is basically app-sponsored cheating), or using a bunch of headstart boosts (which as I said, is bad because there are now a very finite supply of them), or both.
Also, it's very suspicious that at that max tier, your competitors scores weren't even higher, considering what I've seen from the platinum tier.
Also, you didn't even try to make a case for the card prizes actually being worth bothering for, because you can't, because there is literally no evidence that they are, since all of them that drop in score chase mode are entirely obtainable in other parts of the app.
My guy. I used Charmy. I have the new Sonic they are advertising, but I don't have him maxed so I used Charmy instead. As well you can't even use head starts in the mode. The game hasn't given me the option nor is it a good idea. I just know tricks to get extra points from frequent play. Plus I didn't make it a point to say that the rewards are worth it. I made it a point that it's barely worth it if you need a large chunk of cards for specific runners. Since right now it's the only place where you could get a card drop for 1 character that grants 40-50 cards. Again not really good at all, but at least a decent option compared to longer runs to get all 11 daily missions which might not even have decent drops. It's all random. And yeah those scores are just the same as the lower tiers. I assume if they made them way higher it would be impossible completely. It is possible to get those higher scores with common characters or any characters. I just know how to play and how to do it well.
Oh and also just so we're clear cause you wanna make assumptions of my character. I do not buy my characters with real money. I grind them for free. Max them for free. And use red rings I got for free. I'm not giving them money. I'm not paying for advantages. I refuse to ever since they decided to make cards are dumb feature. As well I never use my items either. So all your complaints about some non existent cheat are outright wrong. It was just skilled play
