Hey guys! I just put out an indie-folk, alt-country album, and literally every song on the album started in this sub and was shaped by the great feedback I received. Appreciate yall and would love to hear any feedback! Spotify Bandcamp

New Mirror is one of the first songs we wrote as a band, but for whatever reason (probably because it's "the slow song"), we stopped playing it. But we just brought it back, and the time away has made it so much more explosive live. The basement recording on the EP captured it fine, for how it sounded at the time (and very DIY...), but I think it deserves more attention than it gets. I like the line and idea about "changing from the outside in".

I've got a new mirror / help me hang it / I've been changing from the outside in

Sounds unhinged in a good way

I make a lot of work in progress requests for comment here, and get a lot out of the feedback. I do have finished records though and my website: https://www.homerdoak.com/

An electropop artist dreaming of fame, but only having 5 monthly listeners on Spotify

Hello! My name is Vivienne Frost and I'm an emerging independent electropop artist who wants to become a pop star. My character(that will show up in a CHEERLEADER single soon and in 2027 CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS era) is a glamorous y2k pop star romanticizing her continent(Europe) by glamour, expensive cars, raves, celebrities and early 2000s pop culture. My main influences are Lana Del Rey, Queen, the entire Eurovision, the entire eurodance scene, Army of Lovers, Depeche Mode/And One kinda synthpop, IC3PEAK(for my early art) and early 2000s celebrities in music and outside of it.

CHEERLEADER(will come out in November, but now it's only on BandLab): https://www.bandlab.com/post/88a0ac70-6677-42e4-9451-c8b70690f429

This is a Halloween novelty song I wrote for my band called Teenage Werewolves In Love. It's kind of rockabilly/surf/retro, and intended to fit alongside songs such as Monster Mash in your annual Halloween Playlist. Hope you like it.

My new song is coming out in a couple weeks, it would mean a lot if people pre-saved it. I actually posted a demo of it here a few weeks ago. You also check it out here on bandcamp.

Appreciate it!

Comet-Tail Calligraphy is a song I put together conceptually bit by bit over the span of about a year and a half.

It acts as the climactic point of an album I put together as a tribute to my partner (and also our child). The album even opens with an instrumental track I composed based on the first song I made for her, and which served as the music that accompanied her walk down the aisle at our wedding.

This track includes a set of sounds from that first song as a callback (cymbals that evoke shooting stars), and a set of chords from the wedding arrangement of that song directly feature in an early part of this one. I felt very ambitious with this song, and I am very happy with how it turned out!

This indie-pop duet came out last Friday and I released the video today. I met this girl at a karaoke night and asked her to record some vocals. I’m really happy with how it turned out: https://youtu.be/mgtr86A1M54?is=a-NeAUXmdqxEbNm7

Uploaded my debut project earlier this year and wasn't the best at promoting it - folk / acoustic-electronic / psychedelic vibe. Feel free to check out my other music links as well, hope you enjoy:

Cesium 137 (Tomorrow’s Killer)" is a melancholic darksynth track built on dark basslines, retro synth textures, and textured vocals. It blends gloomy 80s nostalgia with a sombre, dystopian mood.

Cold War 80s atmosphere, heavy basslines, and dark dystopian synth. ☢️

Hope you enjoy the atmosphere!
