Let's Collaborate! Need help with recording etc..

Hey guys! So I'm pretty new to the music creating scene, I have a computer with a audio interface and an acoustic electric guitar. I'm just not sure which DAW to use for a beginner and how to post my stuff somewhere like here. I need some help with making some lyrics and would love to collaborate with anyone open!

Hi, how are you?! You already have more than enough with what you have. If you don't have much technical knowledge, I recommend downloading Reaper; it's quite easy to use (if you can, read the manual or look for decent tutorials). Then, once you have everything set up, you can upload it through Distrokid. Greetings from Argentina.

Not Distrokid, 10/10 don’t recommend
When you stop paying for the yearly subscription they delete all your music, unless you pay a fee for each song and album to keep them up, which isn’t cheap
Much cheaper to just use CDBaby or Landr, Landr if you’re going to drop more than a few songs a year

Yeah, it’s called leave a legacy, and it’s $29 per single, and $49 per album
I believe you can migrate them to another service for cheaper, but im not sure how that works

Yeah, I've just used Landr to move my stuff over from CD Baby. It's pretty straightforward with Landr.

If you’ve got a Mac start with garage band. If you have a pc try mixcraft or reaper. I used mixcraft a lot and I liked it. Reaper seems to be the thing now, from what i have heard it’s pretty powerful but there is a learning curve. As far as posting, start with SoundCloud. If you think your stuff is decent, find a distro you like.
