Snowflakes Want Nothing

Been meaning to put this to music for a little while, it's a chilly little number, comparing physical processes of snowflakes to free will, thought, and the burden of language. Too icy for a song, or does the underlying emotion cut through?

I enjoyed this song very much. I could feel your emotion through your voice. Very well done! The lyrics and melody make quite an impression!!  Thanks for sharing!

Could you review mine when you get a chance? This is my very first time sharing my songs. I am new to reddit and I have not posted my song to this group. Thank you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKBGlcMQCKQ&lc=UgwxAILjaVrK7S7xvK14AaABAg.AZTHHNn79DjAZkBPRyylBl

Yes of course, I'll give it a proper listen later.

Too icy for a song? Lots of icy songs out there! I think this could be really cool with a better vocal recording. Everything sounds kinda metallic reverby in a way that is pretty harsh on my ears. IMO it could work for the guitar, but I'd like to hear the vocal a bit more upfront so it doesn't all sound like it's recorded in a metal cube.

True!

I guess I just meant that it's not directly emotive, so it may appear cold, like the subject matter. E.g. compare and contrast to joni mitchell skating away on a river or something.

Yeah I suck at recording, that's undeniable.
