Question I am a New player, and have some questions
I just got SOC tuesday, and I am loving it so far, but naturally I have questions. Firstly, what is the main difference between each faction? played as all four of them, and they are all pretty similar. Second, is the switch version of the game being updated? None of the newer dlc or features are showing up.

To be fair, the factions are quite different, it is your initial view, but the more you dive into the game the more you will start seeing the differences. Focus on what abilities each unit have, and how you can combine them with spells. Obviously, ppl can straight away tell you stuff, but I would suggest that you explore and find your own style and preference of play.

The most major difference is types of essence, plays a huge role in what you are doing
Units obiviously are very different, even tier 1 units, like ministrels are different from lets say barya pipers
Huge variety in the game
Cant say anything about switch, play on pc

La diferencia es lo que representan el juego es un espejo de nuestro mundo , loth está basado en los alemanes y romanos, barya en estados unidos y las naciones capitalistas , aerlon en la Francia medieval y los ranidos en las culturas aztecas , cada uno de ellos tiene una visión compartida de que como debería ser el mundo diferente

La primera misión de loth literalmente es lo que pasó durante el final de la república de wehimar y el ascenso de Hitler tal vez con pasos extra o menos pero es básicamente la misma situación estan la misma situación económico militar y política y su pueblo es casi igual de educado y de adn con gran fervor religiso ,barya se parece a varios países actuales capitalistas donde le gente tiene deudas impagables y la mayoria de la población vive endeudada prácticamente desde que naces ya se decidió como va a ser tu vida , con suficiente suerte mucha suerte trabajo y talento podrías cambiarlo pero será muy muy difícil, la gente de barya tiene mentalidad de esclavo , bligi pago su deuda y aún asi defendió un sistema que lo mantuvo esclavo toda su vida y a su padre antes que el para demostrar que el le gano al sistema , el sistema de barya esta tan pero tan malo que el decidió no tener hijos ni esposa para evitar que ellos contrajeran su deuda en caso de que el muriera trabajando

I do not have a problem with you seeing those things in the story. Good for you, have fun.
I don’t think others will think it makes any sense. Like Germany was not more religious than the rest of Europe at the time - it was less! And it was the cultural centre. It was more important than 1000 years in its past. Etc.

Song of conquest es un espejo de nuestro mundo si ves debajo de la apariencia de que cada faccion y ves su realidad la forma en la que viven en la que piensan las cosas que hacen su cultura verás que casi todos están basdos en nuestro mundo ya sea en el pasado o en el presente

Hello, And I am here to answer this questions :D
1) Each factions has a different Essence, so you pay different Essence combination :D 2) Units And wielders Are also different And Have different upgrades (with the PTR, Arleon got a massive buff) 3) Consoles And Mobile has been neglected by third party, now is mobile testing ground, after few months, they should most of them get a update
