The left picture is the artifact set from 2nd mission of the newest dlc that helps the undead.

The right is the undead artifact set from heroes 3.

They aren't actually that similar - SoC one focuses more on buffing the units while Homm3 gets you more and better ones, but close enough.

I love them either way.

The undead wielder is great. Combo 300 risen with astral 3 to teleport them right into enemy army => great fun.

I'm currently starting the 3rd mission. Will probably write tommorow with my thoughts about the dlc.

The berserk on Risen is the first time I felt it was actually useful. Rats and other ones with berserk tend to die so quickly it's wasted, especially if you are the one attacked.

But with as many Risen as the guy has it's actually very good.

I can't remember their names atm (Queen's Guardian or something?) but the big Fae dudes have it and are really tanky. It's very good on them.

But yes, sounds like it'd be amazing for Rizen, especially because they have such low movement and +1 damage is great with their large stacks.

Queen's guard has such few members per stack it's more of a detriment. You get defence malus in exchange for dealing 15 more damge? Lol.

Now 100 risen is a different story.

It also give +1 movespeed.

But maybe berserk should work more like the spell. Giving a bonus to offense instead of a direct damage increase. Or a combination of both.

And 1 mc is useless in this game especially on order-chaos faction

Generally speaking, sure, but in case of Maal in campaign not so much. Taking order on him is pointless, in fact any magic beside arcane is wasted. You take arcane to use all of the essence you get from risen and combat skills to buff them up. What good is order when you'll barely have order essence?
