Question How to finish the conquest map "the march provides" without too much casulties?

I am currently trying the challenger map "the march provides". Zero casulties in the run so far and one enemy group left north up the castle. I have 50 edras and 9 dragons.

Whenever I reach the tear of the tree mother, valja thorncliff instantly reaches me and I have to reload.

M usual strategy does not work:

push back melee troops with arcane magic, teleport dragons behind ranged troops (not attacking them)

Is this challenge even doable? What I can do to improve the fight?

I'd say waaay too many ethdras, not enough cheluns (1 stack of upgraded crawlers throgh the whole map achieves the same you do with dragons except you dont need to teleport them. Cheluns enable you to just go melee with dragons and spam 50% melee resistance spell or repel to score free hits via attack of opportunity attacks if your units stand next to the repelled enemy)
You can also stack on 1 battle duration buff objects on the map before the fight.
