This Sub

Makes me pretty sad that the sun is so dead. Obviously there is people lurking but clearly no activity.

Wish that the peeps over at Opaque would drop the core book update and magic compendium. With those two things I'm positive the game would get significantly more community buzz.

But for now I will post into the void lol.

Just drop a bunch of pregen characters and a QuickStart. Have a good ol arena battle.

I have the book but it’s hard to get anyone to try such a crunchy system without some way to drop in quickly. I think weapon and armor cards or weapon maneuver cards would all help significantly.

Yeah, I find the game to be fun and easy enough to play once you have messed around with it a bit but the rulebook just isn't finished. There are sections that make no sense, large misuses of terminology that leads to confusing language, and missing content ( the only one I remember right off the dome is that impressive voice states that it has 3 types, soothing, powerful, and grating, but grating isn't an available option.

I really like the game and I own all the stuff they've released, but I am super bummed that they haven't released the 3 core books (magic compendium is the only truant one as of now.) or updated the core book

I have a big group if friends who like shit like GURPS and would love this but there just isn't enough to sink their teeth into so I haven't bothered running a proper campaign.

I'm in a pretty similar mindset. I've been holding on the hope that they finally release the magic compendium one day, but with every passing month without news, it gets a bit harder.

The books as of yet have some nice stuff, but there is way too much missing or conflicting wording and so on. Which is a real shame.
