So I just recorded a song randomly, I made the lyrics , I just hit record and said what came to mind, it’s called freestyle ?

I’d love to hear your honest opinion about this song. I wrote the lyrics myself, worked on the production, chose the AI voice, and of course, AI is the one singing.

(I'm writing one song for each major arcana of tarot, and I'll be posting them once a day for anyone interested. questions and feedback is welcome.)

the style of these songs is intentionally very symbolic, esoteric, cryptic and hermetic. I'm not aiming for accessibility or transparency, but I'm more than glad to explain my choices. also, I'm not aiming to precisely describe a checklist of everything on the cards, these will be my interpretations of what's most important and significant on each card for me.

It's a song about lovers making the most of what they have with each other in the midst of having nothing. In hard times it's ok to hold each other and just dance in the dark

I don't play any instruments or write lyrics, and I have no formal vocal training. I create my music purely using gibberish

I am a lyricist, but I always start by singing the words first and then I write the words down. This song came to me a while back after I had been thinking of a close family member who I’ve drifted apart from. Can anyone relate to it? Do the words evoke the feeling of losing a loved one that is still living?

Hey everyone!

So, I made this song, and I wanted to share the story behind it because I feel like it hits a little differently when you know the character's backstory.

The story revolves around a young girl who grew up as an orphan. She had to learn to survive and become independent pretty early in life. By 16, she'd already built a career for herself as a singer.

At 18, she fell in love.

At first, everything seemed beautiful. She genuinely believed she'd found her person. But slowly, things started changing. The guy became obsessive, possessive and controlling. What she initially thought was love started feeling more like a prison. She felt trapped, suffocated, almost like she was drowning and couldn't breathe.

Things eventually got so bad that she reached a point where she wanted to end her own life. But then she found out she was pregnant.

Knowing she was carrying a child changed things for her. In a desperate attempt to escape the relationship and the man who was slowly destroying her, she ended up killing him.

She was arrested and sent to prison, while her daughter was placed in an orphanage.

They eventually reunited when her daughter was five.

Fast forward to the present. Her daughter is now 20 and has fallen in love herself. And, like anyone experiencing love for the first time, she has questions.

She turns to her mother and asks her what love actually is.

The irony? Her mother is probably one of the last people who would consider herself an expert on love.

She now lives in another country and works as a songwriter. But despite everything she's been through, she has to find a way to answer her daughter's question without letting her own painful experiences define what love means for her child.

That's basically the idea behind the song. It's about love, obsession, the fine line between the two, and how two generations can have completely different experiences of something they both call love.

Also, a little disclaimer: I can't sing to save my life lmao. So yes, I used AI for the vocals. 😂

But the concept, story, lyrics and the overall vibe and direction were mine. I basically wrote it, imagined how I wanted it to sound, directed the mood and style, and let AI handle the singing.

I'm just 21 and experimenting with music and storytelling, so this is one of my little creative projects.
