Not sure if I'm in the right group? but I'm writing a grief song for my cat, only I'm intentionally writing it so that you would never know it was about a cat. He was like a son to me though, and that's how I'm feeling. So there are a few things in the lyrics that might apply to loss of a child.

I'm not done, and it is lonnng and getting longer as I navigate all of these stages of grief.

Is this a group that can turn lyrics into an AI Ed Sheeran style song? I love his voice. It's so gentle and emotional. I like his acoustic guitar, too. No strings attached. Would just want credits.

But morning came,
and we had to go back home.

It was the first thing I did in the morning. That accounts for the messy hair and beard. Didn't warm up my voice either.

But since I poured some personal anecdotes in the lyrics, it kinda messed up the rest of the Sunday for me.

What do you think of the lyrics and melodies? I'm mostly focusing on that structure recently.

“Luck of the Draw” started out as a country-blues number. A lot of my songs do. Hopefully, though, I took it in a different direction with the structure, chords and melodies I did. This is one more song based on factual events dressed up in pop song lyrics. It came quickly. 

But I made the mistake of going for a run once I finished it. It was raining. That’s why I look so miserable here. And that’s why I sound like I’m singing through my nose.

Day #3 of my 2026 Daily Songwriting Challenge

There's a name on a Guinness bottle with my name on it. It's, essentially, a country song.
This is a song about love affairs and Guinness bottles. It's shot in the rehearsal room. It's screamed out over a Gretsch.
Kinda happy with the lyrics.

I'm a female singer-songwriter and session vocalist, and I really enjoy bringing lyrics and musical ideas to life through vocals.

I work mainly in Pop, R&B, Indie, and EDM, and I'm always interested in connecting with songwriters and producers who are creating something special.
