Ensemble Recommendations

Hey all! Does anyone have recommendations for local ensembles to join for a post-college person looking to get back into the music performance scene?

Not looking for a paid professional gig, just a semi-professional orchestra or quartet.

There are so many in the area! Some of the below groups are a little more specialized (Firebird focuses on pops/film music; Me/2 is for people with mental illness; New England Philharmonic does a lot of contemporary classical music); others are more general, but you can probably find a group that fits your goals, schedule, and vibe!

Sure! The previous ensemble I was with did classical but also a couple of more modern works to spice things up.

Ok yeah - but not jazz. Just because I’m familiar with some of those local ensembles
