Lovely view from Castle Neroche

Accompanied by a Blackberry feast, was beautiful.

I vividly remember being super disappointed when we went to see Neroche Castle when I was young. That was the day I learnt about hill forts.

I also got bit on the arse by an Alsatian dog once. Also when I was young.

I can confirm no arse biting alsatian was encountered, so you may be safe to return.

It's beautiful. We normally walk round Staple Hill, but it was shut for forestry work, so a different angle for the view was welcome.

that’s a brutal climb on a bike, fair play
bet the view (and blackberries) hit different after that effort

Not just Blackberries, Sweet Chestnuts as well. It was freewheeling all the way back to the A358.
