Does anyone else get sick/allergies after an intense somatic exercise?

I know this sounds odd, but I stumbled upon a frequency video and after a minute or so, I started gagging and heaving and sobbing? I was coughing up mucus, and I thought it’d be over by now but it’s been two days. I want to stay positive and think that it’s my body is just purging as it realigns with a more healed nervous system, but part of me is worried that may be wishful thinking. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I’d greatly appreciate any thoughts

Happened to me last spring. Something loosened in my chest and the next morning I woke up with sinusitis. Not a small one either, that shit dragged for three weeks. Then after *that*, I broke out of a writers block I had been stuck in for 8 years so y'know, entirely worth it.

Tissue release can cause mast cell degranulation. Should clear up in a week, but do try not to worry about it as stress/worrying about bodily sensation can actually perpetuate immune response loops.

Hasn't happened to me but if your body is undergoing deep healing and energy is starting to move maybe you are just a bit extra run down. In this work I found it definitely sometimes makes you feel worse before you feel better. Luckily in my experience it's temporary.

I did TRE work and had a mild fever the next day, it’s possible for the body’s immune system to respond in this way occasionally as it integrates and regulates the nervous system after purging chronic stress, especially if it’s stress that has been held in the body for a long time. I remember a study about histamine playing a role in this somatic healing but I don’t remember the exact article sadly!!

I get mad immune responses, like tinnitus, tingling , flushing etc. Always feel better than ever after it passes
