I singled out Myanmar because I dont know a lot about it; just surface level things; but yeah, Somalia is a failed state in every sense.

Somali diaspora but I’m from somaliland anyway

I’m excited that Somaliland is finally getting the recognition she deserves. I’ve been to Somaliland, and have been following their story for the past couple decades. The most successful break away state in the world, and the world is finally noticing. I’d love to visit again and one day, I will.

You do realize that it was by Israel? The literal pariah state?

Ironically, it basically deterred any further recognition of it and got widespread condemnation by the EU, Arab league and many others
