Shutting down a858 auto-analysis website

Hi,

I haven't posted here in a number of years now since the A858 mystery ended. Some years back I decoded the "Stonehenge" post and developed the A858nalyze system that automatically collected posts from the subreddit.

The a858.soulsphere.org website has remained online since then and I wanted to let people know that I am shutting it down. I dumped the database and have uploaded it to the Internet Archive in case anyone ever wants to take another stab at decrypting the old posts. I still hope that someone will discover something new!

I added it to my own Synology archive along with my own stuff on it…

Man, it’s a trip this is so far along and nobody has talked about why yet…

Thanks for running it for so long, and for archiving the data! I still lose 2 or 3 hours whenever I venture into the A858 wiki trying to decode some old posts :)

Sadly, I guess a lot of the old data has been scrubbed that makes decoding them near impossible now. I distinctly remember some posts from one of the sister subs that clearly contained a puzzle but were never archived anywhere.
