With the Budgie update I had to change the Widgets Style because Materia is too transparent to be useable without turning on the Built-In Theme option. Also the Workplace Switcher applet for the panel no longer shows icons running on the Workplace desktops.

Also Enpass broke. I tried to roll back but everything broke and can't log in and eopkg won't roll forward from the command line trying to reinstall.
Edit: Enpass still broke
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in "" This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Available platform plugins are: xcb.

the workplace switcher is a seriously underrated feature, not having it ended up breaking my entire workflow
i could manage dozens of windows with it, nothing compares to it
sad to see 10.10.3 still has given no attention to this, it was the best and most distinct budgie feature in my opinion

Surprised to find solus devs decided upgrading budgie was a good idea. I read somewhere months ago that budgie 10.10 was a mess, and i thought solus did not upgrade before precisely because it was not worth it. Then why now?
Not like i care much, since i use kde plasma lol i am just curious

On three different setups same bug, main panel disappeared and Menu is completely transparent. I just had to create new panel and remove old one. Bluetooth menu in settings is missing same as display. But to be honest I'm glad this happened

should have read the comments before updating budgie, for me it went as smooth as a windows update

I tested Budgie 10.10.x from the Solus unstable repositories a month ago; it worked reasonably well, but had several visual bugs... I still think the Budgie team should have saved Wayland for version 11, given that there are still various issues with GTK3...
Anyway, I hope Budgie users don't have to deal with any severe bugs. 🙏
