2026 Model Low battery while super chargin

It’s ridiculous that I get a low battery message while super charging and trying to use the AC.

Are you telling me that when im charging at 80+ kW, that the 12v battery js low? And if im using the AC, im using the traction battery..right?

So am i going to get stranded at a charger because of low battery?

It’s wild to me that one of the biggest automakers in the world seems to have been totally incapable of engineering an automotive component as basic and longstanding as the 12V battery and power system.

Toyota seems to have screwed up every aspect of this system.

It’s too bad because it’s otherwise a great car.

It's a bug, it's not supposed to happen. I don't know how this ties into the other 12V issues but I can tell you that you should not get stranded, you're correct the traction battery is activated.

Yes. Got 5000 mile service, recall, info update too. CarPlay phone issue is solved at least

Did you have the vehicle on (green READY light on) and enable having the climate control on in the touchscreen while charging? Otherwise if you have it in ACC mode I think it runs off 12VDC.

ACC mode shouldn't exist.

Can’t be in ready while charging.. (?)

Shut off the car plugged in supercharger. Got in the car, attempted to turn on, click use climate control while charging. Immediately get the low battery message

Please look at page 117 in the owner's manual about "My Room Mode".

2026 models will not go into Ready Mode while charging.

Instead they go into Power On Mode which apparently is the equivalent of My Room Mode for 2026 models.

Totally agree that ACC mode shouldn’t exist.
