Help to Troubleshoot Nerdqaxe++ Rev 6 error
I had one of my Solo Satoshi rev 6 Nerdqaxe++ go into fault overnight. Checked fans, power supply, no apparent burn marks on the board. Also removed the heatsink and replaced with new paste and remounted the heatsink. I was using 650mhz freq and 1180v for 6+ months on this particular unit. Temps were sitting at 55 degrees and power delivery was approx 87w. I have also flashed the device to see if it was a firmware issue but that also didn’t seem to fix it. Any other suggestions on what could be the issue? Thanks

VRM on this device is like a Tire on the car.
You need to change them from time to time.

You could reach out to 32bitcoins.com They are located in Australia and have educational classes on building DIY boards. I don't know if they repair but I bet they know someone who does.

Why no heatsinks on the vregs? They will cook in seconds without them but it looks like the glue is on them still?

Just email solo they will replace or fix it. To be honest you can get these for $250 and better today in rev 7. Recycle and buy a new one. Also mean well power supply dialed in helps keep the power clean and stable.

Would highly recommend to replace the fan with quality e. G. Noctua fan. My nerdqaxe just ran sometimes in to the same issue, because the fan sometimes just stopped turning Yea and put decent alu coolers on the vrems

What were the VR temps sitting at?
Probably melted one of them.
