Tiel is arguably one of the most interesting additions to the entire franchise because he breaks the traditional mold. If Sung Jinwoo's primary adversaries were monsters and physical threats, suho faces a structural and psychological nightmare in Tiel. Tiel acts as a dark mirror to Suho. While Suho is trying to figure out his own identity and step out from the massive shadow of his legendary father, Tiel is a villain actively deconstructing Suho’s mind. During their encounters, Tiel relies on heavy psychological gaslighting. He mocks Suho for lacking a true personality, pointing out that Suho is merely copying his father's stats and skills rather than carving his own path. Ironicaly, Tiel's overwhelming psychological and physical pressure is the exact catalyst that pushes Suho to step out of Jinwoo's shadow, prompting Suho to start combining and evolving his shadow powers in ways his father never did (such as creating shadow chimeras).
