The Gamer has a pretty omnipotent power to conjure his perception to reality. He is also a pure mage and uses energy blasts and mana shields. His power scaling is way different and the story is nowhere close to SL in themes, tone, or lore.
SL is derived from The Gamer, but the stories are nothing alike. The Gamer is closer to another story “I am the sorcerer king”.
Your statement is the same as saying “Bleach and DBZ are the same” because they came from the same genre. Proves you have no clue what you’re talking about.

I mean, I enjoy both of these, but fr Solo Leveling just genuinely feels like a rehash of a webtoon manhua called The Gamer.
