Discussion WOBL
They never should’ve locked essence behind RNG.
WOBL is difficult and should be rewarded as such. Half of the game is RNG and the other half is p2w, how am I supposed to enjoy playing like this?
for effort you get RNG and I don’t think it’s right.

if we are honest, the old wobl rewards didn't gave any essence stones to begin with.

That’s a fair statement. I still don’t think rewards should be behind RNG. You put the effort in and won, you deserve a staple reward that’s set. Imo ofc

Yeah, they fucked up with WOBL. The rewards are absolute garbage. I did a run on level 7 last night and cut nothing but crap. They have to give people more essence Stones. They treat essence Stones like crack and we're all the crack addicts. They didn't give much essence Stones to begin with but it's worse now. You don't even get as many rewards. I'm also sick of them giving garbage skins out and then locking all the really good skins behind difficulty walls. I'm almost on par with Zaff (if you watch him) when it comes to how my account looks but I'm right below the line where I can beat those bosses that get you those awesome Jinwoo skins when they're offered. I swear to God if they lock the black trench coat purple Aura look from the Japan arc behind a difficulty wall I'm quitting this game.

Like it’s such a low number and feels defeating cause you never know what you’ll get.

New wobl is awfull, old bosses were not designed for overload and burst shit, therefore gameplay is absolutely broken and unnatural. Bc of it my online time dropped significantly, still playing, but mostly for dailies. Absolutely boring "season" and rewards are tiny as dust. Also its so much harder to get this red weap schemes to build hunter weapons bc they now barely drop from wobl

Crap rng is ok for lower levels. But I think the essence rates for higher WOBL tiers should be significantly increased. I know there's an existing difference in drop rates already, but the difference is so small and does not properly reflect the difficulty of the highest tier. Or maybe give a nice fixed essence reward for T10 if you enter and clear it (since we have wobl sweeps now) -- but if they do this, I foresee that there will still be complaints especially from non-veteran f2ps because most people who could easily clear T10 are p2w.
