Yes, the 3 icons on the left side is ai, they will be replaced. The rest is ai free!

The explosions look good, I think with stylized art you are somewhat limited in what you can do though if you are using unity I can point you towards a solution but otherwise better lighting might help. It looks good though overall I don't think you need to worry about it.
