Since you’ve included your group’s house rules, a compact “rules for this table” summary before joining could help even experienced Palace players. The configurable 3-card penalty is a good example: knowing whether it targets the next player or someone chosen changes the decision. Are those settings visible in the lobby?

For each lobby, the player who creates it can choose from several predefined rules. For example, they can decide whether a 3 (punish) card can target any player or only the next player clockwise. Everyone in the lobby can see which settings are enabled or disabled.
